Welcome to this special opportunity for you and your League to continue and strengthen your Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) work.
Applying a DEI lens and centering DEI in our work is integral to the League’s mission to empower voters and defend democracy. It is also critical to our ability to remain relevant and effective into our next 100 years. This platform is the latest addition to the League DEI resources. This platform will serve as the command hub—where you will learn more about DEI and gain access to peers while you create a DEI action plan for your League.
Getting Started
We encourage you to follow these steps to begin exploring the community and overall site features:
Step 1: Complete your profile by adding your name and photo. Click here to get started on your profile. This profile allows your colleagues on this platform to connect with you.
Step 2: Check out the resources found in the Library and link to the LWVUS DEI resource page on the Discover link. You can also add documents and other materials to the Library on this same tab.
Step 3: Visit the Discussion Tab to discuss your experiences, ask questions, and network with your peers. Make sure you stay up-to-date on the discussions of interest by clicking the Follow button on each discussion thread. The Community Home Page will display latest Discussion entries.
Step 4: Access the Course: Leader’s Guide to Social Equity by clicking on the Learn link.
