Hi! ððžIâm Carolyn, founder of CSBoyce Nonprofit Solutions, where I partner with organizations to strengthen people operations, streamline processes, and build internal capacity. I also serve as the Manager of People & Culture at RISE Travel Institute, where I strategize recruitment and engagement for a global volunteer team of sustainable travel advocates and lead a small team. Iâm currently pursuing my MPA in Nonprofit Management at the University of Illinois Chicago's College of Urban Planning and Public Affairs.
My experience spans a range of nonprofit settings from small, crunchy startups to large, long-established organizations. I bring a background as a paralegal and policy researcher and am a perpetual volunteer for numerous of causes including animal rescues, environmental clubs, a political campaign.
Drawing on my experience in administration, outreach, human resources, career development, project management, and leadership, I work with nonprofits to make operations more efficient, cohesive, and people-centered. I believe technology and structure should serve the humans behind the mission--not replace them.
My downtime these days is typically spent at the gym, walking along Lake Michigan, napping with my cat, or spending time with friends. I also love exploring Chicago and traveling to new places, working on my passion project, ðð Eco Wander Woman, learning piano, enjoying live music, reading, and writing.
