About the Association

The purpose of the Association of Certified Nonprofit Professionals is to support the programs, operations, and future development of the Nonprofit Leadership Alliance and its alumni at a national level. The Association will strengthen relationships among CNPs, current Alliance students, and nonprofit sector leaders.

Anyone who graduated with the Certified Nonprofit Professional credential (or successfully completed the American Humanics program) is a member of the Association of CNPs.

    • Coordinates continuing education opportunities for Association of CNP members.
    • Assists in the planning of conferences and events.

    • Encourages all CNPs to get involved in Nonprofit Leadership Alliance conferences, including in-person and virtual.
    • Assists in the planning of NLA events.
  • Fund Development
    • Assists Nonprofit Leadership Alliance with fundraising efforts.
    • Activates CNP network to engage with fundraising opportunities.
  • Membership 
    • Helps provide engagement opportunities for CNPs.
    • Assists with outreach efforts to activate the CNP network.
